Well those first two days have been fun, tiring, educational and blessed!

  • Fun because we were traveling First/Business Class using our miles with United and each of the segments from SFO to ORD and ORD to CDG the very nice flight attendants that covered our cabin, having been given information by someone, he he, that we were on our twentieth anniversary and they went out of their way to make us feel like royalty! They did not have any champagne on the SFO to ORD flight but they did not let our wine glasses get empty with a very nice chardonnay!
  • Tiring because we were tired, ‘nough said!
  • Educational because our driver from CDG to our apartment was very instrumental in helping us find the best place in Paris to change Dollars to Euros. For a sawbuck, I’ll give up the spot! Just kidding, the Multi Change at 8 bld de la Madeleine in the 9th arrondissement. Why else would we have gone to a street like that with only 25€ in our pocket!
  • Blessed because I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world. She has loved me ever since about a week after we started dating on July 13. I asked her to marry me on my birthday August 10 and 3 weeks later we were married! Yes our anniversary is in September but this year we are celebrating it in Paris. Plus our plane made it to Paris without any problems!

The Tuileries Gardens have two fountains, one at each end. I guess we were a little early as sometimes they rent out little remote controlled sailboats to play with in the fountains. Maybe next time! We started at Pl de la Concorde and finished at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrouse.
